Noble Family (Gassaway, WV) - 08/30/2018   5/55/55/55/55/5

Cabin was clean and comfortable. No cell service and no internet was inconvenient. Very secluded and private. No view. Enjoyed a black bear traveling through our yard one evening.

Erin (Starke, FL) - 07/08/2018   5/55/55/55/55/5

We loved this cabin! We liked that it was a 1 level cabin. We enjoyed seeing the bear visit us one morning. A couple of suggestions: 1. It needs WiFi! 2. Update information notebook to include numbers for local favorite attractions, especially since there is no WiFi to look them up. 3. Could use some new pots (with lids) and pans. 4. This one is for Summit- need garbage picked up more than once a week. We had to leave a lot inside the cabin when we left because the outside bins were full(even after we called the day or two before and asked for someone to come pick it up).

The Gollihue\'s (Grayson, KY) - 07/05/2018   5/55/55/55/55/5

This was our 7th stay I believe using Summit Cabin Rentals and as usual they did not disappoint. Seminole Ridge Cabin is absolutely beautiful. Very clean and well stocked! There was a storm or first night that did knock out the power so I do suggest you pack flashlights as it does get dark on the mountain with no electric! If you are looking for a private cabin to stay in this is the one for you. There is plenty of space in the cabin and on the porches for everyone and the hot tub is super inviting. During the summer months there isn\'t a view of the mountains as you are surrounded by woods, but I would imagine that in the fall when the leaves are gone you would catch a view of the mountains and see just how high you really are up on the mountain.

Trina (Lawrenceburg , KY) - 02/22/2018   4/54/54/54/54/5

Nice cabin , tastefully decorated comfortable beds nice gated area will stay there again .

JoAnna M Allen (Georgetown, IN) - 02/11/2018   5/55/55/55/55/5

We enjoyed our stay and loved the cabin! The only draw backs were drive up the mountain and wish it had a better view of the mountians.

Jen (Marysville, OH) - 01/04/2018   5/55/55/55/55/5

Lovely cabin! Very clean and nicely decorated. Nice furniture and kitchen was stocked with all the dishes, utensils and pans you could need. Would definitely stay again!

Rachel Ayers (Covington , GA) - 12/24/2017   5/55/55/55/55/5

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was beautiful in itself. The only complaint I have is that the cabin had 3 Christmas decorations a reindeer and 2 snowman up for display more decorations and the Christmas tree was in the closet. It was a little disappointing when the cabin wasn’t decorated. But other than that we loved our stay and will be returning.

Sue (Goodlettsville , TN) - 10/15/2017   4/54/54/54/54/5

Tammy bray (trafalgar, IN) - 09/04/2017   5/55/55/55/55/5

Brandon (Chipley, FL) - 06/29/2017   5/55/55/55/55/5

Very nice and comfortable cabin. Cabin is very well maintained and updated. Only thing that could be changed is to trim some of the trees around the cabin perimeter for a better view of the mountain. We had an awesome time and will return soon.

Stacy Voll (Lakewood , OH) - 05/29/2017   5/55/55/55/55/5

We had a great time. Everything was clean and very nicely kept. It was very peaceful there. It felt like home.

Lori Beasley (Millry, AL) - 11/13/2016   5/55/55/55/55/5

We LOVED Seminole Ridge Cabin! The cabin was exactly as pictured online. It was clean, everything worked perfectly, the beds were comfortable and it was beautifully decorated. I would most definitely stay here again! Also, the online check- in/checkout worked wonderfully! We couldn't have asked for anything any better! Definitely 5 hearts/stars from our family!

Bama Fan (Elkmont, AL) - 11/01/2016   1/51/51/51/51/5

Beautiful cabin! We liked that the cabin was not directly next to other cabins. There is a cabin near this one, but it is still very private. All rooms were on one level, which was very nice. However, there is no game room if that is something you are looking for. We were perfectly fine with no game room. The cabin is very clean and the beds sleep very well. The only problem we experienced was the lack of Wi-Fi, but again, that wasn\'t a major issue for us. We really enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer!

A Nickless (Bloomington, IN) - 10/10/2016   5/55/55/55/55/5

Lovely gated community. Roads easy to navigate. Mostly paved, small areas of gravel. Cabins are spaced widely apart in the areas we drove past. Our cabin was exactly as described, clean and comfortable. Owner made it effortless. We saw a lot of turkeys throughout Shagbark. Had some skunks and a baby fox visit our front yard last night. Very enjoyable stay. Close enough to town to be convenient, but far enough away to be at one with nature in the mountains. We used one of the free passes to Ripley\'s aquarium and it too was effortless as long as you follow the directions and take the paper with you. Very good cabin, good community and we will be back!

Janet Woodlief (Thomasville, NC) - 08/16/2016   5/55/55/55/55/5

Cabin was awesome and very clean. We had a very relaxing time. No problems whatsoever. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Betty Price (Dillon, SC) - 07/24/2016   5/55/55/55/55/5

Very very nice roomy home. And very secluded. Not crazy about the mountain driving since I a female. Summit cabins was really great to work with. I will highly recommend this service and this cabin

Danya Beauford (Cowpens, SC) - 06/19/2016   5/55/55/55/55/5

Absolutely beautiful cabin with plenty of room. The drive to the cabin was a little surprising with one of the roads being just wide enough for one vehicle at a time & it was pretty steep.but it was well worth the drive we loved our stay here & will be planning more trips here in the future.. (also very child friendly with only one level)

Mize Family (Corinth, MS) - 05/27/2016   5/55/55/55/55/5

Absolutely AMAZING. We love this cabin peaceful, clean, quiet, beautiful decor. and away from the traffic of the main strip. We liked that you don't see other cabins stacked on top of each other. The perfect escape from everyday life. We can't wait to plan our next trip to Seminole Ridge.

Robin Aplin (Jonesville, LA) - 08/03/2015   5/55/55/55/55/5

We really enjoyed our stay!! The cabin was perfect in every way. Great location! Great layout! Great decor! We got to see a bear the first night. We also enjoyed the hot tub on the deck! Will definitely be returning.

kimberly brazier (whitwell, TN) - 03/26/2015   5/55/55/55/55/5

Cabin was beautiful and we enjoyed our vacation. We will definitely be back.

Mary Harris (Noblesville, IN) - 10/14/2014   5/55/55/55/55/5

Loved the cabin! Great size for our family and the deck out front was great for sipping coffee and hanging out. Rustic feel and decorated to a mountain getaway theme. Only drawback was the gas grill didn't work well. Needs new burners. Wouldn't heat over 200 degrees due to wear and tear and grilling out the last night didn't go as planned.

Carey Braun (Louisville, KY) - 04/06/2014   5/55/55/55/55/5

Excellent stay. Cabin was every bit as advertised. Very clean and well appointed. Would definitely take my family there again!

Houtz/Nevin and Sandra L (Spring Mills, PA) - 12/05/2013   5/55/55/55/55/5

This was our second stay in Seminole Ridge and it was as amazing as it was the first time around. It really suits us, especially this year since I had a knee replacement done in July 🙂 The new log bedroom suit that is in the master suite was an amazing surprise! I had been telling my hubby how much I would love to have a log bed set ... so when we were deciding which bedroom we wanted, I figured we would stay in the second master as we did last year, but hubby said, hey, you might want to come and see something before you unpack! What a gorgeous bedroom set 🙂 Everything was in perfect working condition as it was the first time around! We will be back! Summit ROCKS! And the Adventure Power Pass was a nice addition! We got some great discounts for some events that we might not have been inclined to go to (like Wonderworks) 🙂

Gerald Hawley (Kenly, NC) - 11/11/2013   5/55/55/55/55/5

The cabin was very nice and confy. It made us feel like home. It was very clean. If I gone another mt trip I wouldn't mind staying with u again. It was a very beautiul cabin.

We stayed in "Siminol Ridge" this past weekend and had a wonderful experience. This is the first time we have used Summit Rentals and it won't be the last! I called a few times before we got there for different questions and everyone I spoke to was very friendly on the phone. We asked for an early check-in on the day of our arrival and you all made the extra effort to get us in early, we were in our cabin by 12:30! Thank you so much for that! The cabin was beautiful and very clean, no complaints at all!! Thank you for a wonderful weekend, I couldn't imagine spending my birthday any better! Thanks again!

David (Murfreesboro, TN) - 10/13/2013   5/55/55/55/55/5

Our three night stay at Seminole Ridge was wonderful and relaxing. The cabin is secluded and private, not a neighbor in sight. Everything was well maintained, clean, and convenient. Although just my wife and I stayed, the cabin is certainly large enough to comfortably accommodate three couples. The decor was typical of a backwoods rental cabin; a little corny and on the cliche side, but it felt right. We used the gas grill to cook several wonderful meals. It's in need of new innards but it still cooked a great steak. The jacuzzi was clean and hot and we enjoyed it every night under the clear sky and bright stars. The kitchen is very spacious and well stocked with plenty of appliances and cookware. We did add two cheap wine glasses to the inventory for a future couple to enjoy. The bed was comfortable and we slept well (all three bedrooms have king size beds). The west facing front porch was very large and spacious. We spent the afternoon watching the sun go down and the stars come out. The views from the cabin where mostly obscured by foliage, but I can imagine late fall views are better (through the bare trees). All in all it was a great cabin and we'll certainly return.

"We had a terrific time! The cabin felt like a second home. Very relaxing and secluded! Everything about the cabin was exactly as described, no surprises. We will rent from you again on our next Smokey Mountain vacation! Thank you so much! We truly enjoy the Smokey's generosity and hospitality!"
