Everything was perfect. I was worried about the cabin being kid friendly but we didn’t have any problems. The 3 balcony’s were really cool to sit out and eat dinner or have coffee in the morning.

Nice stay. Listing was accurate in every respect. Centrally located between Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. Access easy and not in steep hills or mountains. Quiet location. Having bedrooms on lower and upper floors was ideal. All three floors were large and decorated nicely in cabin style. Main living area large and very functional. Very clean. Hot tub nice. Three covered balconies made early morning coffee enjoyable. Safe neighborhood. Price very reasonable considering other places and holiday time of the year. Would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was clean, cozy and just as a mountain cabin should be. The only suggestion we have to to use carpet tape on the rugs that were curling up. They were definitely a hazzard.

The cabin Something Extra was wonderful. The upstairs mattress was so incredibly soft and comfortable we didn’t want to leave it behind! The toilet upstairs does need a new seat though. I don’t think we could have asked for more. Thank you!

Perfect little cabin in the perfect location. You are perfectly located to be close to everything, but yet just far enough out to feel like you are in the secluded mountains. We will definitely keep this cabin in mind for our next trip. The office staff called within 5 minutes of us checking in to make sure we were all set and didn’t need anything.

For the Thanksgiving holiday, I booked this cabin as a place for my wife, my in-laws and I to stay as something different to do. There are always uncertainties when booking a stay but boy was I pleasantly surprised. The communication leading up to our stay was superb and I really felt like my family was fully prepared for our stay. We even got a call well before our expected check in time to let us know our cabin was ready. Something Extra cabin was beautiful and perfectly located within a short drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We were overwhelmed with just how special this cabin was. For the Thanksgiving holiday, I booked a cabin through AirBnB and was confused when Summit Cabin Rentals reached out to me but then I was pleasantly surprised to know the communication was coming from Summit. The communication was superb and I really felt like my family was fully prepared for our stay. We even got a call, well before our expected check in time to let us know our cabin was ready. We stayed in the Something Extra cabin and we were overwhelmed with just how special it was. Thank you to everyone for making this experience truly wonderful. Great stay! Exceptional, clean home

I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of a pet friendly rental. The cabin was in a convenient but quiet location. We plan to use Summit for future vacation rentals.

Stay was enjoyable and comfortable. My kids really enjoyed the selection of books and games! The front walkway had to be swept as to not track in dirt and leaves.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. It was our first time being in the mountains, definitely won’t be our last.

Cabin is great loved the look everything was as it should be. Driveway is a little steep and difficult to navigate in a full size van. Other than that the cabin was great.

Beautiful cozy cabin. I Totally recommend it. Its super clean and its only 8 minutes away from pigeon forge. It also comes with lots of board games that you and your family can play with👍

We had a wonderful time here for the Quartet Convention. Being able to stay together as a family made it perfect. The name of the cabin says it all “Something Special”. Very nice and everyone had their privacy as well. Convenient to everything without having to be right in the middle of town. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful cabin, I like the 3 levels. Cabin was clean and hot tub. Beds were extremely high up and hard to get into, but once in them it was like sleeping on a fluffy cloud. Enjoyed the master bedroom jetted tub. Easy access into cabin no steps just park and walk in. Suggestions: master bedroom was hot even with a window unit, I would have preferred a door for privacy too and a vanity in bathroom. This cabin is not elderly friendly you have to climb steps to either bedroom knowing this ahead of time would have been nice since I brought my 82 year old dad. It really does not have a yard for young children to play in or for dogs to go to bathroom since it sits up high. We made it work for our stay and would come back, but just need to keep that in mind. The area of seiverville, pigeon forge, gatlin is gorgeous and offers alot to do. We saw 8 bears in the wild between chalet village and cades cove. We had a nice stay. An additional key in lockbox would be nice and perhaps putting it on something because I dropped key and it almost went in between the porch and would have been difficult to retrieve.

Exceeded our expectations- cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. It was located in a great location- easy to take the back roads to get around.

This house was perfect for our group! The floor plan with three levels allows everyone to have their own space, the master suite upstairs is absolutely beautiful and the hot tub on the second floor balcony is delightful. The location is ideal, just minutes away from several restaurants and grocery stores and easy drives to some great hiking destinations. Highly recommend this property for a family vacation or group getaway!

Nice, quiet retreat

Cabin was great despite all the rain and flooding some of the places we normally go were closed. Sorry about waking Debbie at 5 in the am . She was awesome as always .

We loved everything about this cabin. If you want to be close to the outlet mall and restaurants yet secluded in a nice clean cabin, this is the place for you. It was perfect for us 4. Thank you for being so kind and easy to work with. We will be staying here again!

Our trip started out rocky. After the hot tub was fixed it turned out to be a great trip. Gorgeous cabin.

Cabin in great location. Had quick access to everything. Enjoyed the floor plan as it gave us plenty of room to spread out. Had all the amenities we needed to stay an entire week. Would definitely stay there again.

This was by far the best place me and my family have stayed in Pigeon Forge. The location is perfect. It is easily accessible to Dollywood, Gatlinburg, and other attractions. The Super Wal-Mart was less than 1 mile away which was very convenient. It is located in a quiet sub-division. The three porches offered a view of the mountains. I give Something Extra five stars. My family and I will definitely stay here again.

The cabin was very nice. There were a couple of things I would have changed about it but overall the family enjoyed it. I loved that we were only about 5-10 minutes out of the city. We plan to book with summit cabin rentals again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Something Extra. The cabin was beautiful and perfect for our family. There were 4 adults ,4 children and the family pooch and we were all quite comfortable. We enjoyed every moment spent in the Smokies and really hated to leave. The kids are asking if we can go again next summer?
