Our family had a great time, the cabin was nice and the view was amazing! The ride up is very steep, curvy and really only one lane, you just have to hope that nobody is coming the other way. We saw a bear on our first morning there, then again later in the week one came down and walked around the cars in the driveway! The price was great, Summit was very easy to deal with and the Adventure pass came in handy! The only complaint I had was there wasn\'t a lot of room for trash outside. With a big group we filled what room there was in the trash cans by Thursday and had to keep the last 2 bags in the house before we left on Friday. Overall it was a great trip - most of us had never been to the Smoky Mountains and agreed that having that mountain view far outweighed the crazy drive up and down the mountain! I would definitely use Summit Cabin Rentals again!

We really enjoyed our week at the cabin! The views were truly great and the location was far from the hustle and bustle of both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Being somewhat far away was fine for us, but it took at least 20-30 minutes to get anywhere - even the closest grocery store (Kroger) as you had to ascend/descend the mountain each time. The cabin was clean and comfortable. It had the basic amenities that we needed and had a good starting supply of paper products, soap, etc.. The refrigerator, oven, microwave, gas grill and washer/dryer were clean, in good condition, and worked well. The dishwasher was quite loud, but it worked as it should. A few notes for future visitors: the kitchen is stocked with only very basic tools. If you plan to do anything fancy, you might want to bring some of your own equipment (like a hand mixer, food processor, good knives, casserole dishes, etc.) There was no garbage disposal. The kitchen itself is also quite small and had limited storage space. There was one drawer (for silverware/utensils) and one eye-level open cupboard shelf to store any pantry items. The other open cupboard shelves were over the microwave and refrigerator. The beds were squeaky, but comfortable enough. The bathrooms were clean, the showers had good pressure and enough hot water (although there is a note that care should be taken to length and timing of showers, etc. due to a limited supply of well water). We did not have any difficulties with this. The cabin does have wireless Internet access, but it was very slow and annoying to some people in my family who wanted to stay connected. My whole family noticed that that there was almost no cell phone reception in the area (T-Mobile and Verizon). But I guess that\'s to be expected in the mountains. One note for the owner of the cabin: the breakfast nook gets very warm with the late afternoon sun. Perhaps some blinds could help this and might keep cooling costs down. Summit Cabin Rentals was easy to work with and quickly resolved an issue we had getting another family memeber\'s name on our Adventure Pass.

This is the second time we have stayed @ this cabin. I was able to feed the baby out on the deck and still be part of the group watching the football game in the living room. Each family had their own bedroom and bathroom. We even saw a bear during this visit. One son-in-law started calmly saying "a bear, a bear, a bear." A black bear was walking down the concrete wall of the driveway! I think the glass-walled dining area is my favorite part. The view is wonderful!

One of the best vacations I have had in a long time. The cabin and the view did not disappoint. Both were just as described and as seen in the pictures. Directions were easy to follow and the property was well kept. Close enough to enjoy all that the Smoky Mountains has to offer but just far enough off the path to get away from the noise and traffic. Would definitely recommend and are hoping to return soon!

Auburn Sky is a beautiful cabin with a spectacular view and the mountain sunsets are amazing. Our family of 4 generations from Florida and Ohio met here and had a wonderful time making memories we will cherish forever. The cabin is spacious, clean, good parking and did I mention that gorgeous view. The roads up are steep, curvy with a couple hairpin curves but it's worth the drive.

The Cabin was amazing. We had 4 adults and 7 kids. Spent multiple days relaxing in cabin. The kitchen deck was the best place in the house spent every morning out there with a coffee and a every evening out there enjoying the sounds, storms, sunsets!

We loved our stay in Auburn Sky! The cabin was great and the mountain views were awesome. We didn't see any bears at the cabin, but we saw several in Roaring Fork. There was a "resident" raccoon who slept on the back porch - and when he wasn't sleeping, he sat and watched us through the door! There were some insects in the cabin (mostly millipedes), but I guess when you're on top of a mountain this time of year, you can expect that. Our vacation experience was wonderful - we would definitely rent from Summit Cabin Rentals again - everyone we spoke to was friendly and helpful. The adventure power pass they give you at check-in came in very handy and saved us a few dollars. We've rented from other companies, and none of them gave us anything like that. I give them 5 stars!

We had a fantastic stay at Auburn sky! The views from the deck are breathtaking! Very clean and spacious! Beautiful rustic Atmosphere! We had a couple of minor issues in the cabin and they were handled immediately! We found the grill not working on the morning we had planned to grill steaks for dinner. We called Summit, and that afternoon with we returned they had provided a brand new grill! Fantastic customer service. Very easy to work with. Our only complaint whatsoever is the 50 gallon hot water tank. We had to strategically stagger our baths to get hot water. Overall an excellent place to stay! A++++
