It's A Wonderful Life when you spend your vacation in the gated Shagbark Resort!

4 Bedroom Deluxe Cabin - 4 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s) - 3 Baths - (Sleeps 10)

Location: Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, USA (nestled between Gatlinburg, TN and Sevierville, TN)

The moment you walk through the front door of this modern log cabin you will surely think you've been given the moon and a handful of starry amenities to boot! With four bedrooms, It's A Wonderful Life will accommodate 12-15 people comfortably and is sure to make your life wonderful! That's right, even Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed would love the amenities and beauty built into this wonderful cabin.

Referencing the classic movie "It's a Wonderful Life", George Bailey (played by Jimmy Stewart) asks Mary Hatch (played by Donna Reed) What is it you want, Mary? What do you want? You want the moon? Just say the word and I'll throw a lasso around it and pull it down. Hey. That's a pretty good idea. I'll give you the moon, Mary".

Our Pigeon Forge cabin is friendly and inviting. Here's your chance to enjoy a "wonderful" view of your own.

Relax and unwind, gaze at the incredible mountain views, sink into the 5-person hot tub on the wrap around deck, kick back on one of two decks in our swing or any of our country porch rockers, enjoy a pleasant conversation around one of our two stone fireplaces, or watch one of 6 LCD Flat Panel TV's (catch a show or listen to XM radio on our satellite TVs or pop a movie into our DVD players).

If you're feeling a little more active, head to the game room for a round of pool on our new pool table, enjoy our air hockey table, or maybe a card game in the living room. Jump on-line with our exclusive Wi-Fi. Or, if the season is right, take a Dip in the community swimming pool, or bring your tennis racquets and basketball for a game on the court.

"It"s a Wonderful Life" also features a fully equipped kitchen for the chef and entire family to enjoy! The roomy kitchen is perfect for family gatherings and features a gorgeous country-sized dining table, a coffee bar table, plus two picnic tables on the deck for extra outdoor seating!

After a long day, feel free to adjourn to the master loft suite where you will experience more wonderful views. The suite has a king-sized bed, 32? flat screen TV, DVD player and a private bathroom with a cozy bubbling bedside Jacuzzi and shower. Or if you prefer being closer to the kitchen, the main master has a king-sized bed, 32? flat screen TV, and its bathroom includes a large bubbling jaccuzzi and shower. Kids and those more active may enjoy two bedrooms on the lower level sharing a fully appointed bathroom and game room.

And one more perk you might want to know: After thousands of nominations and votes, conferring among writers, editors and others, Frommer's has announced: "The Great Smoky Mountains National Park (GSMNP) was named the <a href="http://wonderfulcabin.com/top-destination/"> Top Family Destination in the world! </a>" And, our area was named the Most Romantic Getaway in America.

Bring your loved ones & see for yourself ...and we hope you have the most wonderful stay!

As advertised... Too many times you see beautiful pictures online of somewhere and the reality is different. Not with It’s a Wonderful Life. From the fully stocked kitchen to the impeccable cleanliness, the cabin was as advertised and it was impressive! We (4) had a wonderful stay with plenty of room and creature comforts during the evenings when we returned for a long day kart riding or museum touring. The ONLY complaint was the WiFi, which is sufficient for texting (virtually no normal cell service) and catching up with quick email...certainly not streaming anything (Netflix). Of course you don’t go to the mountains to watch Netflix... Highly recommended

Super location with a fantastic view. My family and i had a great time at It's A Wonderful Life

Beautiful view!!! It slept 8 of us very comfortably and having three bathrooms was great. A little out of the way from Gatlinburg, but really the view is worth it. Only a couple downers that made me only put 4 stars.... when we first got there we had to kill 5 or 6 wasps (we thought there was a nest but never found one). There were dead bugs in the freezer and on the window sills. We know it’s the middle of no where, but still :-/

I really enjoyed my stay at this cabin! From the view to the comfortable king size beds! The place was real clean and it was private from other nearby cabins! My friends and family enoted the cabin as well. Summit Cabin staff are so nice and will work with you! The only negative is the wifi not working as good, but I didn\'t care the cabin is for quality time not electronics!

Ricky Bradley (Carrollton, GA) - 08/08/2016   5/55/55/55/55/5

We really loved the cabin especially the view from the back deck!!!!!!!! Everything was great with the rooms and access to the cabin. We only had a couple of cliches. The wifi was very hard to get to connect and the refrigerator was not cooling great. Other than that we had a great time!!! Even enjoyed our little visitor the raccoon both nights!!!!!! He was tapping on the window at me the first night! Thought it was funny.

We had a lovely stay at It's a Wonderful Life. I would highly recommend it.

Steve and Colleen Jacobs (Cincinnati, OH) - 08/10/2015   5/55/55/55/55/5

Great cabin! Great view! Clean, organized, good communication before and after arriving, well-equipped. We had a great vacation with all of our adult children in the same place! Suggestions: The grill needs to be replaced, does not work well enough to prepare a meal. The larger of the 2 coffee pots is extremely slow, doesn't work well and should also be replaced. The pull out mattresses and mattress on the top bunk are very uncomfortable. Other than those 3 suggestions it was a wonderful experience. Thanks, Steve and Colleen Jacobs

Kimberly Smith (Reynoldsburg, OH) - 12/09/2014   5/55/55/55/55/5

Wonderful set up for a large family with children!!!!!! Our family had an awesome first time experience that made our post Thanksgiving celebration amazing.

We had a wonderful stay. Very memorable for me and my family. The sunsets were magnificent from the deck, we felt like we were in heaven. The home was very spacious and comfortable. My sisters and family were next door in a very lovely home and they loved it also. Lots to do in TN. My son in law said he would take TN over Disney. A special note of thanks to Debbie who helped me plan the vacation.

Miko McDowell (Madison, AL) - 03/27/2014   4/54/54/54/54/5

We had a great time during our stay at the cabin. There were a couple minor maintenance issues, but overall the cabin was very nice. The drive was not far from Pigeon Forge, but the road was a bit steep. The distance to Gatlinburg was a bit further, but we preferred the less busy and congested area. The drive allowed for a beautiful view and a relaxing smoky mountain experience. We would definitely do it again!!

C Needham (Tazewell, TN) - 11/20/2013   4/54/54/54/54/5

We spent 3 nights and 2 days here, the trip up the roads were challenging but well worth it when we arrived. We had our family join us for our anniversary and really had a great time. We spent many hours playing games, eating and talking, it was fun. It is a gated community so we felt safer than at some other cabins we have been to. We will do it again some time. Thanks to all that made our stay good.

thompson/Ursula (Knoxville, TN) - 11/10/2013   5/55/55/55/55/5

Great cabin! All the family loved the king-size beds. Enough room for grandkids to sleep w/ gdparents. 🙂 View was magnificent! Enjoyed the swing and hot tub.

Bill Lowe (Old Hickory, TN) - 10/21/2013   4/54/54/54/54/5

The view is absolutely wonderful! The cabin was as described. The black couch in main area does not sit well, but the others are great. There were some outlets that did not work and would have liked to watch TV in the loft. But, overall a very nice place. Quiet and peaceful. The road up is steep, but, the view makes it so worth it.
