The Hidden Owl Mountain Lodge

Cabin was great. Everything was clean and new. Spacious rooms, plenty of tvs and bathrooms. Hot tub, game room, theater room and decks were all very nice. Comfortable beds and pillows. Extra toilet paper should be left in each bathroom instead of one roll. The only downfall was the drive to the cabin. It's pretty off the grid with step hills and sharp curves.

The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. It was perfect for our group of 10 adults. Check-in and check out were very easy.

What a spectacular cabin in the midst of spectacular mountains! It is beautiful inside and out and was the perfect setting to relax with friends.

We looked at several cabins online and this one stood out! There was not a single thing that was oversold online. Everything was either as they described or better!! The kitchen was really well equipped each bedroom has a private bath, the beds were so comfy and the views....seriously.... BREATHTAKING! If I owned this cabin I would be here everyday. To the owners thank you for thank you for thinking of everything for your guests. Really strong WIFI and electric car charger- a huge plus for our family.

We've been coming to the Mts since our honeymoon in 2004. Out of all the places we've stayed The Hidden Owl is by far our favorite! This cabin is absolutely gorgeous! While it is too much house for just the two of us, it was just one of a small handful that offered an EV charger. Having this capability was so convenient, especially for our Devils Gap Day! Thank you for sharing this gorgeous lodging with such an amazing view!

After weeks of meticulously looking at all the cabins in the area we selected The Hidden Owl Mountain Lodge for our 4 generation family vacation.....and it did not disappoint! We used all of the amenities, enjoyed the well designed + appointed cabin and spent hours soaking up the fresh air and views. Even as a couple of us had to work a few days it felt like a retreat from it all!

We had a great time during our stay as we visited this area for the first time. It is conveniently located to so many activities and places to visit. The Hidden Owl Mountain Lodge is a great place to stay with wonderful amenities and amazing views of the Great Smoky Mountains especially as the fall leaves were turning! Already looking forward to coming for another visit.

Our first cabin we reserved burnt down. This was an amazing replacement. Beautifully built and amazing layout. Furnishings were also wonderful we had many laughs and prayers driving up the mountain each time but it was well worth it. It was a well deserved brake for 8 educators from Indy to bond and relax. We would defiantly return. Thank you for sharing your small piece "Heaven".

We had a great time! This cabin was a wonderful home base for our family as we explored the surrounding areas. A favorite hike of ours was Clingmans Dome and Andrews Bald. They are well worth the hour drive. Also, Tuckaleechee Caverns was awesome. Thabk you to the host for providing a clean well thought-out cabin. What an amazing vacation! The best view with a truly luxury cabin. This was the first vacation we've taken in over 4 years and it did not disappoint. My 16 year old loved the beautiful mountain view and my 7 year old did too! The younger one couldn't decide which he liked more the mountains or the bunk beds. We plan to come back for years! We loved it so much. Maybe next visit we'll get to see some bears!

I don't have the vocabulary to to describe your property accurately. The home itself is fabulous and the view is just spectacular. The home has everything we need to thoroughly enjoy a true vacation. The perfect location to enjoy the company of friends and family. The attention to detail is more than impressive. There is absolutely no doubt we will return. Thank you very much!

This cabin is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed in. From the scenery to the inside of the cabin. Breathtaking views on the balcony at any hour of the day. So peaceful, relaxing, and serene. Lots of memories made here and and we will cherish forever. Thank you for letting us be a part of this adventure at the Hidden Owl Mountain Lodge. PS: We saw 2 bear cubs from the main level balcony and momma walking down the street out front!

OMG this place is amazing!! We had 4 bears visit one morning and the next day one more showed up to say "Hi" I would stay here again!!

What a beautiful place! The spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains from the deck chairs to the great outdoor dining table make this a wonderful place to relax after a day of hiking in this beautiful area. The home itself is beautiful and comfortable. There is plenty of space for 4 couples or 2 or 3 families. The kitchen is fully stocked and large enough for everyone to hang out for drinks or dinner. We loved sitting outside the most! Oh and the visiting bears made out day. We will be back! Thank You.

Cabin was as presented on VRBO. Cabin was clean and met our needs. Maintenance person needed into cabin and were alerted of their arrival.

What a wonderful surprise to get your call! We dropped everything and drove 3 1/2 hours to come visit your new cabin. The Scenery is spectacular, the clouds, the mist, the rain, the sunset, THE SMOKIES! It was amazing and I was in awe! Thanks for being the perfect host. I certainly would recommend this wonderful place to all my friends! PS: Your cabin is very homey and comfortable- what a relaxing place.

This rental was a family vacation to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We were blown away by the spaciousness and cleanliness of this cabin. It is fully stocked with all dishes, glass & cookware. Plenty of room for our party of 10. The kids enjoyed the video games, pool table and theatre room. We also used the hot tub a few nights. The beautiful scenery from the decks was breathtaking! We had bear sightings two days, even a mama bear and her cub came on the front porch and peeked in. We kept the doors locked at all times. We would highly recommend this place, no one wanted to leave! We had three families; three cars—so parking was a little tight. The drive up is a narrow, winding road; it would be tight to pull anything.

We are enjoying the beautiful cabin! I was walking around and taking pictures and 5 minutes later the mama bear and her cub stopped by for a visit. They checked out the garbage bins and they decided to come up on the porch and peak in the front door. The little cub stood on his hind legs and looked in; luckily we had the dead bolt locked or they could have pushed the door open and entered. This is the 3rd sighting we've had of them. The location of the cabin is in the woods making it the perfect place for bear habitat. The views are amazing! The home is a perfect 10. Very wide porches for all occasions. Would defiantly recommend it.

We had a fantastic time in The Hidden Owl Mountain Lodge. The cabin is spacious, luxurious and impeccably decorated. It's secluded and the views are stunning- mountains for miles! Multiple decks and a hot tub make for a great place to watch the stars in the unspoiled night sky.

The place was perfect! Nice and clean, smelled fresh, comfortable and the view was perfect! Definitely a 10/10 across the board.

This place was perfect! We had 7 people there and we still had room to spare. Once you make your way up a pretty steep mountain road, you are greeted by a gorgeous view that can't even be described. There's enough to do on the property to keep your guest busy, and it's pretty close to Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge so there are plenty of things to do. We had a few bears stroll pass the property- it's VERY IMPORTANT TO SECURE EVERYTHING OUTDOORS!!! (there are cages and covers provided).

Beautiful place. Beautiful view. Exactly what we were looking for. Just enough room for our entire family. We had bears visiting us everyday of our stay. Our only disappointment was we had a mouse running around on the counters eating our food. We had to throw some things away. Other than that it was awesome.

Had a wonderful Easter weekend at the Hidden Owl Mountain Lodge. The cabin was beautiful and all of the furniture and beds were so comfortable. We absolutely loved the amazing views from the deck and how the cabin was private without neighbors in view. The kitchen had everything we ever needed to prepare meals. This was the nicest cabin we have ever stayed in. Love the location. Looking forward to coming back.
