If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, then you need to visit El Ranchero Loco Mexican Restaurant in Pigeon Forge. This restaurant is a local favorite and serves some of the best Mexican food in the area. It’s located on Veterans Boulevard just down the street from Dollywood. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but inside you’ll find an extensive menu of delicious dishes. Order a classic favorite like the Burrito Mexicano, Enchiladas Suizas, or Quesadilla Loca. What El Ranchero Loco is really known for, though, is their famous street tacos. Choose from Tacos Al Pastor, Tacos de Lengua, Tacos de Pollo, and more.

4. Wacky Tacky Tacos

Not quite a restaurant, Wacky Tacky Tacos is a food truck that serves fun, tasty Mexican food. Since it’s a food truck, it does move around sometimes, but typically it’s parked at the same location on Pittman Center Rd / Birds Creek Rd just outside of Pigeon Forge. Wacky Tacky Tacos lets you build your own Wacky Tacky Street Taco with your choice of meat and toppings. Or, you can order a Quesadilla, Burrito, Nachos, or Queso Roll. This food truck also runs daily specials, so depending on the day you can get specialty items not usually on the menu. You never know what you’ll find at Wacky Tacky Taco!

5. Talitas Restaurant

For traditional, authentic Honduran and Mexican food, make your way over to Talitas Restaurant. This is one of the most authentic Honduran and Mexican restaurants in Pigeon Forge. There’s no fancy decorations or extra frills, but you will find really good food there. Some of their signature dishes include Carnitas, Steak Encebollado, Pollo con Tajadas, Carne Asada, Quesadillas, Fajitas, Street Tacos, and much more. Many of their menu items are in Spanish, but there are pictures with each item in case you don’t know what something is. This restaurant is located on Veterans Boulevard just south of Dollywood and next to Rivera’s Market.
